Weighing Room

The existing weighing room was in need of a full refurbishment to bring it up to modern day standards.



A small extension provides a transparent view of the weighing-in area giving the public an opportunity to observe the workings of this part of operations.



The improved facility provides the same accommodation but in a better configuration and larger spaces for use by the jockeys, racing officials and valets.



The alterations to the Parade Ring make the area work more efficiently for the horses and stable staff plus a new winning podium enhances the occasion of the day.



The development was completed in June 2019.
