Experienced Architectural Technician
We’re seeking a talented, experienced Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering detailed technical drawings & a deep understanding of building regulations & construction methods. This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with architects & other stakeholders to ensure that designs are practical, sustainable, & ready for construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed architectural drawings & specifications for residential & commercial projects using REVIT software & other relevant tools.
Ensure all technical designs comply with legal & quality standards, including building codes & health & safety regulations.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, & construction teams to resolve complex design & construction issues.
Conduct site visits & surveys when necessary, providing technical advice & support throughout the construction process.
Stay updated with the latest building regulations, materials, & construction technologies to continuously improve the quality of our projects.
Manage project documentation, including drafting reports, proposals, & correspondence related to architectural design & construction.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction, or a related field is preferable.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably within an architectural firm.
Proficiency in Autodesk software (Revit is essential).
Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, & construction standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment & communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills & the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
A portfolio that demonstrates a range of projects & a mastery of technical documentation.
